Computar has released the new Lens Connect lens series. The industrial lenses are unique in the field of industrial image processing and are characterized by their software-controlled operation of focus, aperture and zoom (variofocal lenses only) via USB

Application areas
The Machine Vision lenses of the Lens Connect series were specially developed for applications with changing requirements. Perfect for packaging lines, warehouses and factory production, they significantly reduce set-up times.
The series was awarded a Silver Honoree in the Innovators Awards Program by Vision Systems Design in 2021.
Availability
The first lenses in the Lens Connect series are expected to be available from the first quarter of 2022. Other focal lengths and types will follow in the course of the year.
