Magewell present the new Eco Capture AIO M.2 Video Capture Device
Magewell Eco Capture Family cards offer system integrators and OEM developers a high-performance, low-power video capture solution in a space-saving package. The cost-effective, low-latency devices feature a high-speed PCIe 2.0 bus interface with an M.2 connector and measure just 22 x 80 mm (0.87 x 3.15 inches). Therefore, large PCIe slots are not required for operation.
Keyfeatures of Eco Capture AIO M.2
- Device connector on the motherboard M.2 2280 PCIe
- HDMI Input resolution of 2048 x 1080p
- SDI Input resolution of 2048 x 1080p
- Automatic detection of the input signal format
- For Windows- and Linux
- low latency mode
"Magewell's Eco Capture family continues to be extremely popular for enabling robust, reliable video capture in space-constrained applications," said James Liu, VP of Engineering at Magewell. "We expect that the new Eco Capture AIO M.2 will be of particular interest to OEM partners and developers of third-party solutions who need a compact, energy-efficient video capture card and want to offer their end customers a flexible choice of input connectivity."
Eco Capture cards are compatible with Windows and Linux operating systems and support native APIs including DirectShow, DirectKS, V4L2 and ALSA. FPGA-based video processing provides high-quality up/down/cross scaling, image control, and color space conversion without taxing the host system's CPU. A comprehensive SDK is also available, giving developers direct access to the full functionality of the cards.
