The motorized zoom lens EL6Z0915UCS-MPWIR from Computar's Lens Connect series is a software-controlled industrial lens which can be connected to a PC via USB2.0 (Type A) via Plug&Play. The free software (Windows or Linux compatible) allows remote control of the focus, iris and zoom functions via PC, offering maximum flexibility as circumstances change. The precise stepper motors are powered via USB2.0. These realize a quick control of the settings and enable a high repeat accuracy. The typical areas of application for machine vision lenses are warehouse and factory automation, but these lenses are also ideal for classic applications such as production control and monitoring tasks.
