Schneider Kreuznach Xenon Jade Industrial Lenses
Xenon Jade Industrial Lens Serie
The new Xenon-Jade series from Schneider Kreuznach is a set of high-end lenses that were developed with a focus on the new sensors such as the Pregius S™ generation 4 from Sony. The xenon jade lenses are optimized for use in machine vision applications.
OUR TASK:
Update of the Schneider-Kreuznach C-mount lens family for new sensor technologies while maintaining the high performance of the existing products.

technical Features
The five new machine vision lenses of the Xenon-Jade series will be available as 12/16/25/35/50 mm fixed focal lengths. All industrial lenses are designed for an image diagonal of 19.3mm. The resulting xenon jade lenses fit perfectly even with the largest Sony's Pregius S ™ up to 1.2" with 25 megapixels and are suitable for all C-mount industrial cameras with sensor sizes up to 1.2". The lenses are optimized for a working distance range of 25 cm to 1.5 m and maintain high performance for longer working distances. As a perfect feature for machine vision applications, the MTF of the xenon jade lenses is high and very constant over the entire sensor surface over a large magnification range, even with the aperture open.
All industrial lenses are equipped with an adjustable locking aperture that is fully open at f / 2.8 and show a remarkably high relative illumination to the sensor edges, even at f / 2.8. They are connected to the camera with a standard C-mount with a locking focus setting. The lenses are color corrected and coated with the Schneider-Kreuznach 400-1000nm broadband anti-reflective coating. As a result, the lenses are not only suitable for visible light, but also for applications in the near-infrared range.
Even in deep blue light, where the sensor is still very sensitive and is used for all imaging applications, the lenses show a high transmission.
