Magewell Ultra Encode Family

With the Ultra Encode Family from Magewell, you can transfer media content from HDMI or SDI sources directly to the Internet or network and stream it live. Interfaces are provided by default that make it very easy to integrate them on platforms such as Facebook, Youtube and Twitch. In addition, streams can be managed on your own servers via RTMP, RTMPS, HLS and more. The integration of the devices takes place via W-Lan, Ethernet or on the way with a USB modem, thereby reaching a new level of flexibility and applicability.

Live Streaming

The Ultra Encode HDMI and Ultra Encode SDI support live streaming in protocols such as RTMP, RTMPS, HLS and more with bit rates of up to 16 Mbit/s and configurable presets for easy streaming on Facebook, Twitch and YouTube. Some logs can be streamed to multiple destinations at the same time.

Production, Contribution & Monitoring

The Ultra Encode devices support the NDI® | in addition to the common streaming protocols NewTek's HX technology for IP production workflows and the open source Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) protocol developed by Haivision for the robust delivery of H.264 / H.265 streams over unpredictable networks and the Internet. The encoder can be mounted on the camera for easy remote contribution, while bandwidth efficient NDI® | HX streams can be sent to multiple receivers over wireless networks, simplifying on-site production and monitoring workflows.

AV over IP

In combination with the Pro Convert video decoders from Magewell, the Ultra Encode family can be flexibly integrated into the existing AV over IP infrastructure. The devices can be configured and controlled via an intuitive web GUI or HTTP-based APIs, which gives system integrators exceptional flexibility in terms of provisioning and integration.
